Noll, Gray reign over SGHS homecoming

STE. GENEVIEVE – 2008 Ste. Genevieve Homecoming King Dustin Noll and Queen Lindsey Grey reigned over activities this past weekend at Ste. Genevieve High School.

King Noll was crowned at the half-time of the powder-puff football game which the Seniors beat the Juniors by a score of 30-24.

The winning teacher with the most spirited door goes to Mrs. Staffen.

The winning teacher with the most creative door decorations is Mrs. Engelmann.

The winning teacher with the most theme-oriented door is Mrs. Newman.

The winning class of the balloon pop at Friday’s assembly was the Senior class.

The winning class of the relays at Friday’s assembly was the Sophomore class.

The winners of the belching contest at Friday’s assembly were Josh Meyer and Lindsey Gray.

The winners of the Spirit Stick, which goes to the class that had the best participation in Spirit Week, are the Juniors

The winners of the Spirit Megaphone, which goes to the class that displays the most spirit throughout homecoming week are the Seniors.

The winners of the float competition in this evening’s parade was the Junior class. The Freshmen came in second, the Seniors were third and the Sophomore class came in fourth.

Carrying the Queen's crown during the halftime ceremonies Friday was Drew Newman, daughter of Tracy and Dale Newman. Thomas O’Brien, son of Mary and Jeremy O’Brien, carried the football autographed by the Ste. Genevieve Dragons varsity football team.

The freshman class attendant was Holly Schilly, the Sophomore Class attendant was Hope Gassier and the Junior class attendant was Elizabeth Huck.
