Gerald Leo Meyer, 77 years old, of Sainte Genevieve, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Ste. Gen. Co. Memorial Hospital in Sainte Genevieve.

He was born August 1, 1940 in Ste. Genevieve.

Married to Pauline M. (Donze) Meyer on May 8, 1965

Son - Tim (Kate) Meyer, Weingarten.

Son - Douglas (Brenda) Meyer, Sunset Hills.

Son - Patrick (Michelle) Meyer, Fenton.

Daughter - Dr. Mary Beth (Mark) Beyatte, Eureka.

Daughter - Jill (Joseph) Chatman, St. Louis.

Son - Joseph (Amy) Meyer, Weingarten.

Brother - Charles (Clara) Meyer, Arnold.

Sister - Wilma (Gene) Stackle, Arnold.

Sister-in-law - Florence Meyer, Sainte Genevieve.

Grandchildren - Josie, Chet, Step Granddaughters Cindy and Rachel; Kelci, Kylie, Kamrie; Abigail, Ashley, Logan; Carly; Taylor, Jackson, Jaynie; Rhea, Myla, Jana & Jed

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home Sainte Genevieve, MO on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM

Service will be at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Weingarten on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The Clergy will be Rev. Frank Koeninger

In keeping with Jerry's wishes his body was donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine.

He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, K of C 1037, Am. Legion Post 150 Ste. Genevieve, charter member of Ste. Gen. Jaycee Club, charter member of Weingarten Jaycee Club and Bricklayer's Union Local #1 of St. Louis.

Jerry enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors, making wine, Valle Football, Baseball and Volleyball. Most of all, Jerry enjoyed reading and being with his family and friends.
