Solid Waste Management District meets Tuesday

PERRYVILLE -- The Solid Waste Management District will conduct its monthly Executive Board meeting on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission Meeting Room.

4. Approval of the minutes of the October 24, 2017 meeting of the Solid Waste Management District. The minutes are enclosed and are also available on the Commissionís website at www.semorpc.org

5. Presentation of the Treasurerís reports and presentation of the bills for payment. Copies of the Treasurerís reports will be available at the meeting

6. Update on status of grants

a. Bollinger Co. Recycling R2018-005 request for reimbursement.

b. Update on Life of Jesus Organization

8. Setting of the next Solid Waste Management District meeting

Chairman Toma called the Solid Waste Management District meeting to order at

1:30 p.m.

Chairman Toma asked for approval to amend the agenda to add item #8.

Commissioner Mullins moved to amend the agenda; Commissioner Nelson seconded the motion; the motion carried.

Chairman Toma asked for approval of the amended agenda. Commissioner

Nelson moved to approve the amended agenda. Commissioner Mooney seconded the motion; motion carried.

Chairman Toma asked for approval of the minutes of the August 8, 2017 meeting. Commissioner Elfrink moved that the minutes be approved; Commissioner Nelson seconded the motion; the motion carried.

Chairman Toma requested approval of the treasurerís report and bills for payment at this time. Commissioner Mullins moved that the treasurerís report and bills for payment be accepted and paid; Commissioner Wengert seconded the motion; motion carried.

Mr. Grimes gave a report on the status of grants. He stated St. Joe has requested their 15% retainage payment to close out their grant. Commissioner Nelson moved to approve the 15% retainage payment. Commissioner Mullins seconded the motion; motion carried.

Mr. Grimes requested to authorize a prepayment for the Life of Jesus Organization to purchase a pickup truck as part of their approved grant. The check is made out to the dealership for the truck. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to approve the prepayment for the truck for the Life of Jesus Organization. Commissioner Nelson seconded the motion; motion carried.

The next meeting for the Solid Waste Management District was scheduled for December 12, 2017

Chairman Toma declared the meeting be adjourned at 1:40 p.m.
