First blood drive of school year held at SGHS
STE. GENEVIEVE -- Ste. Genevieve High School Student Council hosted its first of two American Red Cross blood drives Thursday.
The student council had set a goal of 150 combined units to be collected during the fall and spring blood drives and collected 95 units in this first drive.
The Red Cross will donate up to $2500 for SGHS seniors if they reach their goal.
"Thank you to all who participated," a school official stated.
