The weight of material diverted from the landfill and ditches during the Second Annual Perry County Electronic and Appliances Recycling Fair was over 100,000 lbs of material. There were over 35,000 lbs of appliances this year, mostly refrigeration. It was double the amount from last year.  The remaining 65,000 lbs was made up of electronic items.
