Isa Mae Broeker

Ida Mae Broeker, 94, of Perryville, died August 27, 2017 at her residence in Perryville.

She was born August 6, 1923 in St. Mary daughter of Albert and Edith (Schilling) Favier. She and Henry Broeker were married on February 16, 1939. He preceded her in death August 30, 2001.

She had been a homemaker.

Survivors include seven children, Donald Broeker of Hillsboro, Judy (Morris) Owens of Jackson, Janet (Harold) Jannin and Roger Broeker all of Perryville, Connie Bergtholdt of Ste. Genevieve, Sally Ruesler of Friedheim, Donnia (Charlie) Besher of Patton; 23 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six sisters; three brothers; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Broeker; two sons-in-law, Terry Bergtholdt and Alan Ruesler; and one great-grandson, Westley Webb.

Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 30 from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. with Rosary at 9:00 a.m. She will then be taken to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Shriner’s Hospital for Children or St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
