Aleen A. Behrle, 91, of Perryville, died April 20, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, MO

She was born October 23, 1925 in Silver Lake, MO, daughter of Levi J. and Nancy Ann (Cantor) Thomure. She and William E. Tucker were married on January 23, 1942. He preceded her in death and she later married Homer Behrle in October 1976. He preceded her in death.

She had been a farmer. She was a former member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 133. She embraced a full 91 years of enjoying the life God provided for her in family and farming. She had true enjoyment from raising her chickens, cattle and rabbits. She loved seeing her farming labors pay off in bumper crops of beans, beets and pickles. She was devoted to God and praying for her family and friends every day. Her warm smile and contagious laugh will be treasured and missed for years to come.

Survivors include two brothers, Levi Thomure, Andrew Thomure; four grandchildren, Tina (Michael) Houska, DeAnn (Pete) Chasarik, Patricia (Mark) Reinbold, Stephen (Erin) Zahner; 12 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands and one daughter, Anna Marie Zahner.

Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23 from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:30 am with Stephen L. Zahner Jr. will officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Highland, MO.
