A funeral will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012 for 94-year-old Othella M. Colin of Perryville who died January 29, 2012 at Holiday Residential Care in Perryville.

She was born February 3, 1917 in Charleston, the daughter of Watson and Mamie (Valleroy) Downing who both preceded her in death.

She married Amiel H. Colin on March 16, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1998.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons; Jacqueline Brendel of St. Louis, Janet Harper, Barbara (Roy) Garris, Richard (Sherry) Colin and Stanley Colin all of Perryville, twenty grandchildren and forty-six great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son: Ronald Colin; a granddaughter: Diana and a brother: Alfred.

She was a housekeeper at Perry County Nursing Home for 16 years.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 and 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2012 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 94-year-old Othella M. Colin of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2012 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Crown Hospice.
