A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 for 77-year-old Willamae A. Bert of East Moline who died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.

She was born November 15, 1934 in St. Mary, the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Bach) Ochs who both preceded her in death.

She married Stanley Bert September 5, 1953 in Perryville. He died May 4, 1994.

She is survived by a daughter: Kathleen Bert-Howard and siblings: Edgar "Sonny" Ochs of Lithium and Jean Moll, Myrtle Duvall, Rudolph Ochs and Richard Ochs all of Perryville.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Calvin and Paul.

Willamae retired in 1999 as a pharmacy tech from the former Illini Hospital in Silvis.

In recent years Willamae found great joy in traveling. She enjoyed getting new stamps on her passport throughout the world.

Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home in East Moline.

Visitation will also be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno.

A funeral for 77-year-old Willamae A. Bert of East Moline will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno.

Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Lithium.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
