All services will remain private for 91-year-old J. T. Smith of Perryville, who died Sunday, January 15^th, 2012 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born December 13^th, 1920 in Taylor, PA, the son of George and Urania (Tubbs) Smith. They preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Croom) Smith of Perryville; two sons, J. Brad (Jan) Smith of Perryville, J. Blair (Debbie) Smith of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Valerie and Monika Smith of Perryville.

Jack was a WWII Army Air Corp Pilot-RAF trainer and Pacific Transport.

He lived in Sacramento, CA for more than 50 years, retiring from Broyhill.

He moved to Perryville to be close to family.
