A celebration of life will be held Thursday, January 26^th, 2012 for 57-year-old Clifford Dobbs of Ste. Genevieve, who died Tuesday, January 24^th, 2012 at his home.

He was born June 28^th, 1954 in St. Louis, the son of Steve and Christine (LaRose) Dobbs.

He married Juanita Wisley July 21^st, 1979 in Perryville. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.

Also surviving are a son, Phillip Edward (Amie Allen) Dobbs of Ste. Genevieve; a daughter, LaWanna Lynn Cervantes Dobbs of Ste. Genevieve; a brother, Gene Dobbs of Oak Ridge; a sister, Bernice Boxdorfer of Perryville; grandchildren Chelsea Dobbs, Kendel Dobbs, Abigail Dobbs, Casey Dobbs, Katrina Dobbs, Nita Cervantez Dobbs, Chase Dobbs all of Ste. Genevieve.

He is preceded in death by his mother and step father; Ardell Lalumondiere and brother Larry Lalumondiere.

He was self-employed. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Perryville, and served with the 1140^th Engineer Battalion Company B of the Army National Guard.

Clifford donated his body for Medical Research.

There will be a celebration of Clifford’s life on Thursday, January 26 at 2:30pm at the First Assembly of God Church in Perryville. The Rev. John Chamness will officiate.
