Darwin Delos Dunker A funeral will be held Thursday, December 29th, 2011 for 88-year-old Darwin Delos Dunker of Perryville, who died Monday, December 26th, 2011 at the Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Perryville.
He was born October 7th, 1923 in Dell Rapids, SD, the son of Hilary and Eunice (Biery) Dunker. They preceded him in death. He married Hazel Hartley June 10th, 1948 in Aurora, SD. She survives in Perryville. Also surviving: a son, Robert Dunker of Perryville; a sister, Donna Olson of Warrensburg, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Delos was an Electrician and Plumber with Miner’s Lumber Company. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. He was also a World War II Navy Veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post # 133. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 28th, and from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Thursday, December 29th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 88-year-old Darwin Delos Dunker of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 29th, 2011 at the Miller Family Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Rhinehart will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Military graveside honors will be rendered by American Legion Post 133. You may make memorials to the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. |
