Wanda M. Weibrecht A funeral will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 for 94-year-old Wanda M. Weibrecht of Perryville who died November 20, 2011 at her home in Crosstown.
She was born May 9, 1917 at Grand Tower, Illinois, the daughter of Tex Golden and Haddie Smith Golden who both preceded her in death. She married Cletus Roberts, he preceded her in death in 1966. She married Edwin C. Weibrecht on May 12, 1984, he preceded her in death on October 19, 2007. She is survived by a son: Jack Roberts of Farmington; two step daughters: Phillus Roberts and Barbara Dudley both of Perryville; 13 grandchildren; nieces; and nephews She was also preceded in death by a son: Bo Roberts; a daughter: JoDean Pingel and a son-in-law: Eldon Pingel. She had worked at McGraw Edison Fuse Company. She was of the Baptist Faith, and was the last of the Golden Girls. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 and 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 94-year-old Wanda M. Weibrecht of Perryville will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Don Estes will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
