Joann E. ‘Boby’ Zoellner

A funeral will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011 for 67-year-old Joann E. "Boby" Zoellner of Perryville, who died November 15, 2011 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born January 18, 1944 in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Arthur and Emma (Bangert) Lohmann who both preceded her in death.

She married Charles Zoellner on February 19, 1966. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2004.

She was a home maker.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and loved to play bingo and scratch-offs.

She is survived by two daughters: Juanita (Doyle) Kaufmann of Altenburg and Bonnie (Mike) Bowser of San Antonio, Texas; a brother: Paul (Delores) Lohmann of St. Charles; a sister, Lawanna (Ivan) Moore of Sikeston; and two grandchildren: Paige Brickhaus and Mikayla Harris.

She was also preceded in death by an ex-husband.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2011 and 6:30-8:15 a.m. Tuesday, November 22 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 67-year-old Joann E. "Boby" Zoellner of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
