Doris N. Graff A funeral will be held Monday, November 14th, 2011 for 86-year-old Doris N. Graff of Perryville, who died Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born on February 15, 1925 in Lithium, the daughter of Joseph Henry and Mary Berniece (Cissell) Doll. They preceded her in death. She and Hugh Fenton Graff were married on August 19, 1944. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2007. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda M. Bendon of St. James, Barbara J. (Mike) Carman of Washington, Bonnie K. (Philip) Gunderman of El Paso, TX; two sisters, Dorothy Clauson of Perryville, Patricia J. (Eldon) Lohmann of High Ridge; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Graff was a Shoe Factory and Civil Service worker. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and it's Concordia Ladies Aid; Perry County Historical Society; Perryville Senior Citizens; Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary; VFW Post 4282 Ladies Auxiliary; American Legion Post 133 Ladies Auxiliary; Auxiliaries of the Fleet Reserve Association & NARFE. She was a military wife and had travelled with her husband throughout his career in the the Navy. She had belonged to the Navy Wives Club at that time. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, November 13th, and Monday November 14th from 6:30 a.m.-12:50 p.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 86-year-old Doris N. Graff of Perryville will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 14th, 2011 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Concordia Ladies Aid or Perryville Senior Citizens Center. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville, MO provided the arrangements. |
