Curtis C. Bronenkant A funeral will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 for 74-year-old Curtis C. Bronenkant of Jackson, who died November 14, 2011 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born September 16, 1937 in Seventy-Six, the son of Herbert W. and Mathilda M. (Lorenz) Bronenkant who both preceded him in death. He married Venita M. Rodgers on June 25, 1987. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2006. He is survived by a special friend Glenna Hohler of Jackson; a son: Trent (Lori) Bronenkant of Altenburg; two daughters: Tina Spees of Bonaire, Georgia and Sarah Richardson of Lampe; three step-children: David (Jody) Meher of Chester, Illinois, Julie (Donald) Renaud of Perryville and Larry Smith of Chester, Illinois; two brothers: Dale Bronenkant and Roy Bronenkant both of Frohna; seven grandchildren; nine step grandchildren and five step greatgrandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother: Robert Bronenkant. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Nip Kelly Construction. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 15 and 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 16 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home, Perryville. An AmVets Wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A funeral for 74-year-old Curtis C. Bronenkant of Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, United in Christ Lutheran School or SoutheastHEALTH Cancer Center Gardens at SoutheastHEALTH Foundation, #60 Doctors’ Park, Suite 102, Cape Girardeau, MO. |
