Paul F. Moore A funeral will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 for 70-year-old Paul F. Moore of Perryville who died October 22, 2011 at his residence.
He was born January 20, 1941 in Perryville, son of the Lloyd and Cordula (Zoellner) Moore who both preceded him in death. He is survived by three sons: James Moore of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Eric (Julie) Moore of Cumming Iowa and John Moore of Sycamore Illinois; three daughters: Kristen (Ed) Forgue of Lakeland Florida, Laura (Jason) Rodewald of Perryville, Missouri and Catherine (Jason) Froderman of St. Louis; three brothers: Lloyd Moore, Jr., of Paducah, Kentucky, Sam Moore of Palm Harbor, Florida and Tom Moore of Springfield; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Elizabeth Moore He was owner/operator of Shakertown Grocery, the trucking parts manager for Larry Schmidt and maintenance worker for Perry County School District No. 32. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Perry County Historical Society, and the Knights of Columbus. He served in the US Air Force, was an avid stamp collector and was a lifelong Cardinals fan. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 25 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 26 at Young & Sons Funeral Home. A Catholic Wake will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral mass for 70-year-old Paul F. Moore will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 26 at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Francis Agnew will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Children's Section at the Riverside Regional Library or Alzheimer's Association. |
