A funeral will be held Monday, October 10, 2011 for 87-year-old Gerald A. Moll of Perryville who died October 8, 2011 at Independence Care Center in Perryville

He was born September 30, 1924 in Perry County, the son of Albert and Ida (Ernst) Moll who both preceded him in death.

He married Rita Winschel on September 11, 1948 at Apple Creek, she survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by two sons: Darryl (Arlene) Moll of Rapid City, South Dakota and Rick (Kathleen) Moll of Perryville; four Daughters: Karren (H. Bud) Tarrillion of Perryville, Kathryn Moll (Stanley Storc) of Los Angeles, California, Kristina (Michael) LaRose of Jefferson City, and Cynthia (Kenton) Rubach of St. Louis; 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren

He was also preceded in death by two sons; Troy and Kirk

He was the owner/operator of Moll Meat Market in Perryville. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a Knight of Columbus.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, October 10 in the Gathering Space of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

A funeral mass for 87-year-old Gerald A. Moll of Perryville will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, October 10 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan, CM will officiate.

Entombment will be private, in the Mary, Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Parish or charity of choice.

The Miller Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
