A funeral will be held Thursday, October 27 for 60-year-old Danny L. Peters of Perryville who died October 24, 2011 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born September 3, 1951 in Parma, son of John and Louella (Trammell) Peters who both preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son: Tony (Deborah) Peters of Ironton; a daughters: Vicki (Jason) Roberts of Perryville, a stepson: Jason (Taira) Carlson of Perryville; a stepdaughter: Shauna Woollen of Perryville, three brothers: Gary Peters of Carbondale, Illinois, Johnny Peters of Perryville and Shawn Peters of Gideon; three sisters: Judy Sawyer of Moline, Illinois, Sharon Wolk of Perryville and Joan Tice of Kennett; and eight grandchildren: Brittney, Jacob, Derrick, Katelyn, Rylan, Landon, Lexis and Lucas.

He was a local business man in car sales and mechanic work.

He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in St. Mary.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 26 and 6:30-10 a.m. Thursday, October 27 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 60-year-old Danny L. Peters of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 27 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Perryville. Brother Don Estes will officiate.
