Virginia M. Winschel

A funeral will be held Saturday, September 10th, 2011 for 84-year-old Virginia M. Winschel of Perryville, who died Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 at the independent Care Center of Perry County.

She was born December 4th, 1926 in Perry County, the daughter of Frank and Minnie (Zoellner) Pingel. They preceded her in death.

She married Hubert Winschel January 20th, 1951. He survives in Perryville.

Survivors include her children, Ricky (Mary Ann) Winschel, Barb (Bob) Hagan, Mark (Margery) Winschel, Theresa Winschel, Mary (Paul) Roth, Jennifer Winschel, all of Perryville; a brother, Allen Pingel of Perryville; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cleora Blair and Jeanette Meyer; a brother, James Pingel; a granddaughter, Angela Winschel.

She was a homemaker, a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a member of the St. Joseph Ladies Organization in Apple Creek.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday, September 9th with a Parish Wake at 7 p.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home. Visitation continues Saturday, September 10th from 6:30-11:15 a.m., with Rosary recital at 10 a.m.

A funeral for 84-year-old Virginia M. Winschel of Perryville will be held noon Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. The Rev. Tony Dattilo will officiate.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
