There will be no visitation or funeral for 83-year-old Robert Breuer Sr. of Altenburg who died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born January 20, 1928 in St. Louis the son of Robert and Ruth (Osborne) Breuer who both preceded him in death.

He married Virginia Harrison on February 14, 1948. She survives in Altenburg.

He is also survived by two daughters: Barbara Gerrity of Richardson, Texas and Jacqueline Burns of Mariposa, California; a sister: Shirley Gray of Kenosha, Wisconsin, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son and a sister.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
