A funeral will be held Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 for 59-year-old Terry J. Callier of Perryville, who died Friday, August 19, 2011 at his residence.

He was born June 8, 1952 in Perryville, the son of Lee James Callier and Velda (Layton) Callier Barks who both preceded him in death.

He was a leadman at Gilster Mary-Lee cereal plant.

He was member of the catholic faith; a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam Era; and a member of both VFW Post No. 4282 and the American Legion Post No. 133.

He is survived by a good friend: Debra Tempke of Perryville; two daughters: Crystal Callier of Leavenworth, Kansas and Tara (Danny) Williams of Perryville; two sisters: Margie (Leonard) Ginn of Perryville and Debra Helms of Perryville; five brothers: Larry (Irene) Callier of Jackson, Kenneth Callier of Fairfield, Nebraska, Mike Callier of St. Louis, Douglas Callier of Fairfield, Nebraska, James (Debra) Callier of the state of Idaho; and one step-grandson, Holton.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 and 6:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 59-year-old Terry J. Callier of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery with military graveside service provided by the VFW Post No. 4282 and the Missouri Delta Team.

Memorials are preferred to family use or to the American Heart Association.
