Mildred C. Kerr A graveside service Monday, August 8, 2011 for 84-year-old Mildred C. Kerr of Perryville who died Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Dexter. She was born January 3, 1927 in Black Oak, Arkansas, the daughter of Oral and Frances "Villa" (Lewis) Kerr. She married James H. Pritchard married on February 6, 1946. He preceded her in death in October, 1960. She is survived by three sons: James and John Pritchard, both of Perryville and Jesse Pritchard of Dexter; a sister: Billie (Gene) Landis of Florissant; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son: Glyn Alan Pritchard and two brothers. She had been a bus driver and cook for the Parkview State School in Cape Girardeau. She was a former member of United Methodist Church in Dexter and American Legion Auxiliary Post 133 in Perryville. A graveside service for 84-year-old Mildred C. Kerr of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 8 at Home Cemetery in Perryville. Memorials may be made to the family or a charity of the donor’s choice. The Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville provided the arrangements. |
