A funeral will be held Monday, August 8^th, 2011 for 39-year-old Michael Edward Ashby, Jr. of Eminence, who died Wednesday, August 3^rd, 2011 in Ellington.

He was born October 29^th, 1971 in St. Louis, the son of Michael Ashby, Sr. and Gail (Hogge) Ashby. They survive.

He married Michelle Richardet September 29^th, 1999. She survives in Perryville.

Survivors include his stepmother, Karen Ashby; two sons, Shane Ashby of Perryville, David Ashby of Marble Hill; two brothers, Jason Ashby of Valle Mines, Mark Ashby of Elvins; step grandmother Eileen Walter of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation will be from 9-10:50 a.m. Monday, August 8^th, at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 39-year-old Michael Edward Ashby, Jr. of Eminence will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 8^th, 2011 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
