Geraldine Lauck

A funeral will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 for 90-year-old Geraldine Lauck of Perryville who died August 3rd, 2011 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born December 5, 1920 in Apple Creek in Perry County, the daughter of Ben and Ida Leible Schnurbusch who both preceded her in death.

She married August Lauck on June 3, 1941 at Apple Creek. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter: Margie (Glen) Winschel of Perryville; two sons: Eugene (Norma) Lauck of Perryville and Gary Lauck of Jackson; a sister in law: Bernice Schnurbusch of Perryville; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Elmer and Bernard Schurbusch.

She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church-Apple Creek. She was also a member of the Ladies Sodality.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 and 6:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral mass for 90-year-old Geraldine Lauck of Perryville will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. The Rev. Milton Ryan, CM will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, St. Michael’s Cemetery, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
