A private funeral will be held for 37-year-old Marylyn Marie Evans of Wappapello died July 13, 2011 at her residence.

She was born July 5, 1974 in Perryville, the daughter of Donna Lankford Schoonover of Perryville and Ervin Reed.

She married Steven Evans on October 13th. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2007.

She is survived by a daughter: Whitley Evans of Joplin; a son: Gavin Evans of Joplin; a brother: James Schoonover; a sister: Patricia Davis; her maternal grandmother: Mary Lankford; and two uncles: Dale and Roger Lankford, all of Perryville.

She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, maternal great grand mother and father and paternal grandmother and father.

She was a real estate agent.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service and burial will be private. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate.

Memorials are preferred to family use.
