James D. Campbell

A funeral will be held Sunday, July 17th, 2011 for 70-year-old James D. Campbell of House Springs, who died Thursday, July 14th, 2011 at John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born April 27th, 1941 in Witenburg, the son of Joseph and Catherine (Primo) Campbell. They preceded him in death.

He married Ruby Yount June 2nd, 1962 in Farmington. She survives in House Springs.

Also surviving: a son, James Campbell of High Ridge; a daughter, Sheila Campbell of Arnold; two brothers, Roland Campbell of Chester, Quentin (Judy) Campbell of Perryville; a sister, Janet Monsen of Pevely; a grandson, Justin Schweiss; cousins, nieces, nephews.

He was a US navy veteran, and a fork lift driver for Chrysler Corporation in Fenton. He was a member of the American Legion, was of the Catholic faith, and was a mentor to Robert Johnson of Cedar Hill.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, July 16th and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, July 17th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 70-year-old James D. Campbell of House Springs will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 17th, 2011 at the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Deacon John Darin will officiate.

Burial will be private.
