David K. Holshouser A private funeral will be held for 55-year-old David K. Holshouser of Perryville, who died Thursday, July 7th, 2011 at his home.
He was born September 21, 1955 in McClure, Illinois the son of Albert Holshouser and Alberta Kaufman Holshouser He married Daria Strauffacher-Bennett on April 3, 1999 in Cape Girardeau. She survives in Perryville. He was a licensed practical nurse, working at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Cape Girardeau for 15 years. He is also survived by two sons: Josiah Holshouser of St. Louis and Carl (Ashley) Bennett of Lawrence, Kansas; six daughters: Sarah Sanford and Rebekah (Brandon) Dubois, both of Cape Girardeau; Nicole (Dustin) Bishop of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Elisabeth Holshouser of Jackson; Meg Bennett of Perryville and Amanda Holshouser of Columbia; three sisters: Bobbie Verble of Wolf Lake, Illinois, and Doris Snell and Gerri Forehand both of Thebes, Illinois; two brothers: Lennis Holshouser of Savannah, Georgia and Douglas Holshouser of Marble Hill; and five grandchildren: Colten, River, Jordyn, Blake and Evan He was also preceded in death by a son: Joshua Keith Holshouser; two brothers: Kenny Holshouser and Lloyd Holshouser; an infant sister: Lois and a sister: Ruth Orick Miller Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
