Henry A. Griner of Perryville, MO. died May 7, 2011 at his residence. He was 72.

He was born in Carl Junction, MO on December 17, 1938, son of the late Harold A. and Hazel (Henderson) Griner.

He and Norma J. (Markham) Bert were married on March 1, 1986. She survives in Perryville.

He is survived by a son and three step sons; Patrick H. Griner of New Maket, Alabama, Jerry Bert of Longtown, Neil Bert of St. Mary, Shane Bert of Brewer and three brothers. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Griner and his wife Norma Owned & operated Griner Reality.

Mr. Griner was of the Methodist faith. He was a graduate from Southeast Missouri State University (1988) with a B.S. Degree in education. He was a member of the American Legion Post 133 and retired US Navy after 25 years where he was a Senior Chief Petty Officer.

Private Services were held for the family.
