A funeral will be held Friday, May 20^th, 2011 for 94-year-old Erna Lina Amanda Schuessler of Perryville, who died Tuesday, May 17^th, 2011 at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born August 11^th, 1916 in Point Rest, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Stelling) Hadler. They preceded her in death.

She married Erwin Schuessler September 25^th, 1938. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters; Ruby (Cletus) Steffens of Farrar, Alvera (Wayne) DuBois and Dot Kiefer (friend Don Schwein) all of Perryville; one son-in-law, Royal (Pauline) Mueller of Jackson; three brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law, Hilmer (Neoma) Schuessler, Lorine Schuessler, Elsie Schuessler all of Perryville, Lucille (Vernon) Schlichting of Wittenberg, Milton Kaempfe of St. Louis; (12) twelve grandchildren; (22) twenty-two great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and one step-great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Marlene Mueller; one son, Delvin Schuessler; five brothers; five sisters and one great-grandson.

Mrs. Schuessler was a home maker and member of Salem Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Farrar and Immanuel L.W.M.L. in Perryville, MO. She loved to play cards and Rummikub.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 19^th, and from 6:30-8:15 a.m. Friday, May 20^th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 94-year-old Erna Lina Amanda Schuessler of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 20^th, 2011 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar. The Rev. Roger Abernathy will officiate.
