Herbert O. Dippold A funeral will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 for 81-year-old Herbert O. Dippold of Perryville who died April 25, 2011.
He was born June 12th, 1929 in Perryville, son of Walter and Bertha (Villhard) Dippold who both preceded him in death. He first married Anna Kay Johnson on April 3, 1953. He then married Margaret Harris on March 9, 1986. She survives in Perryville He is also survived by three daughters: Lynette (Eric) Hoog of Bloomsdale, Ronda Dippold and fiance David Ash of Sedgewickville and Brenda (Tom) Burford of Burfordville; two sons: Norman (Cathy) Dippold of Perryville and David Dippold of Chicago, Illinois; two step daughters: Joyce (Chuck) Cox of Herrin, Illinois and Allison McDerby of St. Louis; a step son: Larry (Mary) Richardson of Perryville; two brothers: Walter J. Dippold of Howell, Michigan and Leslie (Mary) Dippold of Perryville; and 13 grandchildren. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, and a U.S. Air Force Korean War Veteran. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 and 6:30-8:15 a.m. Friday, April 29th, 2011 at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A Legion Wake will be held at 7 p.m. A funeral for 81-year-old Herbert O. Dippold of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29th, 2011 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside service provided by the American Legion Post 133 Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Radio Broadcast. |
