"A friend to many,

A stranger to few,

Dad loved life

and everyone he knew;

He loved his beer and vino, too;

Tavern time was special

With a friend or two.

But most of all he loved his family,

The times together he cherished most dearly;

The words are hard but this is the best we could muster,

We love you and will miss you,

This is a real 'goosey buster!'"
