Donald E. "Duck" Merrill A funeral will be held Monday, April 4th, 2011 for 69-year-old Donald Merrill of Perryville, who died Thursday, March 31st, 2011 at his home.
He was born June 18th, 1941 in Warrenton, the son of Eugene and Kathryn (Nagle) Merrill. They preceded him in death. He married Martha M. Kirn on May 29 th, 1982 in Perryville. She survives.Also surviving are two sons, Donald Merrill and Tony Merrill, both of St. Louis; a daughter, Marie Muhlky of St. Louis; two brothers, Harry Merrill of Foley, Daniel Merrill of Overland; three sisters, Hazel Walls of Wright City, Emma Shramek of Hawk Point, Mary Vohsen of St. Peters; and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and James. Donald was a retired Truck Driver. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Teamsters Local 600 Retiree Club, and the Perry County Democrat Club. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, April 3rd, 2011 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish Prayers at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, April 4th, 2011 from 6:30-9:50 a.m. A funeral Mass for 69-year-old Donald Merrill of Perryville will be celebrated at 10:00am Monday, April 4th, 2011 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan, CM will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials to Charity of Choice. |
