A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2011 for 91-year-old Alma L. (Deimund) Dippold of Perryville who died March 17, 2011 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

She was born in Menfro on March 3, 1920, daughter of James and Louise (Warren) Sadler who both preceded her in death.

She married Oscar Deimund were married in 1941. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1965.

She married Walter J. Dippold on June 6, 1970. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1998.

She is survived by three daughters: Carol (Eldon) Kaufmann and Diana Nations both of Perryville and Cindy (Lanny) Nash of Salem; two stepsons: Allen (Mary) Dippold of Perryville and Gerald (Sharon) Dippold of Sedgewickville; two stepdaughters: Becky Camp of Tucson, Arizona and Sue (Bernie) Eskesen of Hendersonville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; one sister: Ruby (Russell) Kiefer of Perryville and two brothers: James Sadler of Bloomsdale and Robert (Shirley) Sadler of Palmer, Texas.

Also surviving are three sisters-in-law: Velda Sadler of Festus, Irma Willson of Montgomery, Alabama and Anna Deimund of Perryville; three brothers-in-law: Richard (Marilyn) Dippold and Hugo (Shirley) Dippold of Cape Girardeau and Edgar (Lee) Dippold of St. Louis and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sons: Gerald and Dwight Deimund; one daughter: Shirley Deimund; five brothers: Francis, Lloyd, Herbert, Raymond and Bernard Sadler; three sisters: Lillian Sadler, Bernice Sadler and Dorothy Gavin; seven sisters-in-law: Katherine Sadler, Ruth Kirn, Minnie Boxdorfer, Emma Wirth, Opal Deimund, Evelyn Mueller and Lucy Sadler; and six brothers-in-law: Rudy Kirn, Leonard Boxdorfer, Walter Deimund, Harry Deimund, Newton Mueller and George Willson.

She was a home maker, avid crafter and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Chancel Guild in Perryville

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Monday, March 21st, 2011 and 6:30-8:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011 at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 91-year-old Alma L. (Deimund) Dippold of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
