Agriculture program tomorrow in Perryville
PERRYVILLE -- The Annual Ag Production and Marketing Update Program will be held Tuesday at the American Legion Main Hall in Perryville.
It is open to all area farmers and landowners and will address key agricultural crop and beef production and marketing issues for the year to come as well as timber information related to tornado/storm damaged woods.
The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude by 2 p.m.
Topics to be discussed are:
Grain and Cattle Market Outlooks;
New Herbicide Technologies: How They Fit in your Weed Control System;
Current and Future Timber Trends and How to Deal with Storm Damage in the Woods;
Growing Fescue: The Wonder Grass and the Curse of Grazing;
Missouri Corn Update;
Bankers Perspective of Agriculture and Cropping Options for Water Quality and Better Yields.
A trade show will also be held in the hall with booths from various ag suppliers and businesses.
A buffet lunch will be served compliments of area sponsors.
