Wideman will lead long term recovery from tornado

PERRYVILLE The city of Perryville has announced that Frank Wideman will lead the long term recovery from the February 28th tornado.

The announcement came in a news release issued Monday afternoon:

As Perry County residents move forward into the long term recovery from the devastating tornado that tore through Perry County on Tuesday, February 28, 2017; the University of Missouri Extension has graciously volunteered to coordinate the volunteer effort and the reception of donations.

Fred Wideman will spearhead this effort and can be reached through the Volunteer Hotline number (573)741-0021; or the University of MO Extension office directly at (573)547-4504.

Those who are in need of volunteers for the clean-up process may reach Wideman at (573)741-0022. Anyone still needing to sign up for long term assistance may contact the Red Cross at 314-516-2700 extension 4.
