AFP gives Sen. Wallingford a ‘B’

CAPE GIRARDEAU – Americans for Prosperity – Missouri, the state’s leading advocate for fiscal responsibility and prosperity, announces a B rating for Senator Wayne Wallingford on their Economic Prosperity Report Card for the 2013 Missouri legislative session.

Senator Wallingford received a B rating on the AFP – MO 2013 Economic Prosperity Report card based on his votes on key issues such as Medicaid Expansion, Paycheck Protection, Common Core, Agenda 21, Transportation Sales Taxes, Utility Surcharges, Prevailing Wage, Tax Reform, & Spending Caps.

"Senator Wallingford is an advocate for the Missouri taxpayer and his B grade is reflected in his votes. "It is important that we take the time to recognize Senator Wallingford for his support of economic freedom," said AFP – Missouri State Director Patrick Werner.

"The purpose of creating a legislative score card is to provide our members and all Missouri taxpayers with a general overview of how their elected officials voted on key bills that impact our economic freedoms and liberties. The score card gives an A, B, C, D, or F grade and percentage to each member of the Missouri House & Senate based on how each member voted on legislation impacting our 2013 legislative agenda.
