A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 for 84 year old Marion Lutz of Chester, IL who passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at her residence.
She was born December 24, 1931 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Adam and Helen (Hicks) Wilson. She married Kenneth Lutz on September 20, 1953 in West Palm Beach, FL and he survives of Chester, IL.
Also surviving are four children, Debi (Dana) Yeazle of Holly Springs, NC, Mike (Susan) Lutz of Chester, IL, Nancy (Perry) Slater of Palm Harbor, FL and Sandy (Byron) Bievenue of St. Louis, MO. One sister in law, Pat Sandberg Wilson. Nine grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother - Ron Wilson and one granddaughter - Kara Lutz.
She had worked at Buena Vista National Bank for 20 years as a bank teller.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Chester, Illinois, Chester Women’s Club, Chester Country Club, Hospital Auxiliary and Sigma Kappa Sorority, Ames, Iowa. Marion enjoyed playing cards with friends and played in two bridge clubs.
Visitation will be after 10am Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Chester, IL.
A Memorial Service for 84 year old Marion Lutz of Chester, IL will be held at 12pm Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Chester, IL with Pastor Faye Edmiaston officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer Association or to the First United Methodist Church in Chester, IL.
