A funeral service will be held Friday, December 12, 2014 for 89 year old Adeline Wolters of Chester, IL who died Friday, December 5, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.
Adeline was born in Randolph County, IL on April 4, 1925, the daughter of Adolph, Sr. and Olga (Knoke) Duensing. She married Clarence Bierman on April 22, 1945 in Bremen, IL and he preceded her in death on April 30, 1955. She later married Richard Wolters on June 6, 1967 in Bremen, IL and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1978.
Surviving are two daughters, Imogene McDonough of Chester, IL and Eileen Bollman of Pascagoula, MS. One brother, Norlyn Duensing of Centralia, IL. One sister, Darlene Spier of Baldwin, IL. One aunt, Naomi Duensing of Huntsville, AL. Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother, both husbands, two brothers, one sister, two sisters in law and one brother in law.
Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Thursday, December 11, 2014 and from 7:30am to 9am on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Wilsonís Funeral Home in Steeleville. Visitation will continue at 10am at St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Wine Hill.
A funeral service for 89 year old Adeline Wolters of Chester, IL will be held at 11am Friday, December 12, 104 at St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Wine Hill, IL with Rev. Tim Zechiel officiating. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bremen, IL.
