A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 for 90 year old Vivian Brueggeman of Chester, IL who died Monday, September 8, 2014 at her home in Chester, IL.
Vivian was born July 25, 1924 in Ste. Genevieve, MO, the daughter of Otto and Ollie (Garris) Harnagel. She married Arnold Brueggemann on July 22, 1944 in Chester, IL and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1999.
Survivors include two sons, Edward Brueggemann of Perryville, MO and Richard Brueggemann of Chester, IL. Two daughters, Marilyn Becker of Red Bud, IL and Deborah Lohman of Chester, IL. One brother, Dick Harnagel of Chester, IL. Two sisters, Pauline Click of Chester, IL and Joyce McDonough of Bethalto, IL. One daughter in law, Lynn Brueggemann of Glen Carbon, IL. 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, one grandson, one great-great grandson, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm Friday, September 12, 2014 and from 7:30am to 9am Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL. Visitation will continue from 10am to 11am on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL.
A funeral service for 90 year old Vivian Brueggemann will be held at 11am Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL with Rev. Peter Ill officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, IL.
