Funeral services will be Monday, February 14, 2011 for 84 year old Marjorie Gentsch of Chester, IL who passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at St. Annís Healthcare Center in Chester, IL.

Marjorie was born May 28, 1926 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Frederick and Florence (Haley) Conrad. She married Herbert Gentsch on December 15, 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2005.

Survivors include her brother in law, Donald Gentsch of Chester, IL and sister in law, Muriel Conrad of Boston, MA. Seven nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews also survive along with several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm Sunday, February 13, 2011 and from 7:30am to 9:30am on Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL.  Visitation will continue from 10am to 11am at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL.

Funeral service for Marjorie Gentsch will be at 11am Monday, February 14, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL with Rev. Mark Willig and Rev. Peter Ill officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Trinity Hope (Haitian Funding Program), to the Radio Fund of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL or to the churchís cemetery fund.
