Funeral services will be Friday, December 17, 2010 for 89 year old Marion Clevenger of Chester, IL who passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, MO.
Marion was born to the late James F. and Lizzetta (Pick) Lochhead on June 3, 1921 at Chester, Illinois. She was married to George S. Clevenger on July 1, 1939 at Chester, Illinois, who preceded her in death on June 1, 2006
Survivors include three daughters, Judith Lea (Raymond) Dash of Champaign, IL, Martha Ann Clevenger of Bloomington, IL and LeeAnn Carol (Dan) Byrne of Marion, IL. Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive along with many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband – George, 4 Brothers – Homer C., James H., Melvin E. and Leonard C. Lochhead and a Half Sister – Emma (Bargman) Aye.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, December 16, 2010 and 7:30am to 9:30am Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL. Visitation will also be held from 10am to 11am at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL.
Funeral service for Marion Clevenger will be at 11am Friday, December 17, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL with Rev. Peter Ill officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
