Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 15, 2010 for 80 year old Faye Magers of Chester, IL who passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Faye was born October 2, 1929 in Chester, IL, the daughter of Oscar and Laura (Ebers) Hartenberger. She married Dan Magers on July 1, 1967 in Chester, IL and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2004.
Survivors include a twin sister, Fern Wesbecher of Hannibal, MO. One sister in law, Mary Hartenberger of Perryville, MO. Special extended family, Dale & Marsha Link and Larry and Andrea Costilow. Several nieces, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, one niece and one great nephew.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 7:30pm Monday, June 14, 2010 and from 7:30am to 9:30am Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
Funeral service for 80 year old Faye Magers will be Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 10am at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL with Rev. Mark Willig officiating.
Burial will be in the Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, IL.
Memorials can be made to St. John Lutheran School’s New Facility Fund, St. Louis Zoo Friends Association Tribute Fund or to the Randolph County Humane Society in Sparta, IL.
