Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 13, 2010 for 88 year old Raymond Canady of Chester, IL who passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.
Raymond was born May 3, 1921 in Dent County, MO, the son of Frank and Myrtle (Radford) Canady. He married Rosie Faulkner on June 12, 1943 in St. Louis, MO and she preceded him in death on April 12, 2006.
Survivors include one son, Danny Canady of Chester, IL. Two daughters, Bonnie Knop of Campbell Hill, IL and Donna Batten of Chester, IL. Two sisters, Mae Renner and Gladys Fortner both of Chester, IL. Six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm Tuesday, January 12, 2010 and after 7:30am Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
Funeral service for Raymond Canady will be at 10am Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL with Rev. Phil Keeton officiating.
Burial will be in the Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, IL.
