Marion K. Durkee
A funeral will be held Wednesday, March 26th, 2008 for 88-year-old Marion
K. Durkee of Perryville, formerly of Chester, who died Saturday, March 22nd
at Perry Oaks Manor.
She was born November 14th, 1919 in Chester, the daughter of Edward and
Agnes (Kraft) Mueller, who both preceded her in death.
She married Lowell D. Durkee on June 17th, 1939. He preceded her in
She is survived by two daughters and a son in law, Carol A. and Paul
Kueker of Perryville and Linda K. Jordan of Atlanta, Georgia; a niece, Karen
Miller of Rockwood, Illinois and several other nieces and nephews; four
grand children, Kathy Viscuso, Steve Kueker, Mike Kueker and Doug Jordan;
and seven great grandchildren, Kris, Dustin, Jesse and Michaela Kueker,
Katlyn Viscuso and Alicia and Andrea Kueker.
A twin sister, Carrie Allen, an infant brother, Rudolph Mueller, and a
son in law, Donald Jordan also preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Chester and was a
volunteer at St. Ann's Healthcare Center in Chester.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26th at St. John's
Lutheran Church in Chester.
A funeral for 88-year-old Marion K. Durkee of Perryville, formerly of
Chester, will be held Wednesday, March 26th at St. John's Lutheran Church in
Chester. The Rev. Mark Willig will officiate. Burial will be in the
Evergreen Cemetery in Chester.
