Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 16, 2007 for 70 year old Charles M. "Charlie" Jackson of Chester, IL who passed away Friday, January 12, 2007 at St. Annís Healthcare Center in Chester, IL.

Born September 22, 1936 in Pana, IL, he was the son of Melvin and Edna (Childress) Jackson.

Survivors include five children, Charles Timothy Jackson of Pacific, MO, Nancy Pierman of Ellis Grove, IL, James Jackson of Ware, IL and Pamela Kattenbraker and Angela Slemmer both of Chester, IL. Two step daughters, Claudia Wittenbrink of Alton, IL and Cindy Hohgreffe of Murphysboro, IL. Two sisters, Pat Beasley of Beecher City, IL and Susan Zeise of Fulton, MO. Three brothers, James Jackson of Tower Hill, IL, David Jackson of Chester, IL and Muriel "Butch" Jackson of El Paso, TX. Friend and mother of his children, Irene Jackson Conover of Chester, IL. 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Friends are calling after 4pm Monday, January 15, 2007 at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.

Funeral services for Charles Jackson will be Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 11am from the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL with Rev. Phillip Keeton officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church or to the Randolph County Humane Society.
