Rahlfs of Chester, IL who passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Three Springs
Nursing Home in Chester, IL.
Born October 7, 1926 in Chester, IL, he was the son of Harry and Clara (Gentch)
Rahlfs. He married Rudelle Diercks on October 12, 1947 in Bremen, IL and she
Also surviving is two children, Steve Rahlfs of Arnold, MO and Kathy
Baker of Chester, IL. Four brothers, Earl Rahlfs of Belleville, IL, Roger
Rahlfs of Bella Vista, AR, Harry Rahlfs of Steeleville, IL and Paul Rahlfs
of Chester, IL. Three sisters, Edna Gielow of Bonne Terre, MO, Irma Dilday
of Minooka, IL and Doris Knoke of Chester, IL. Six grandchildren and one
great grandson also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Friends are calling from 4pm to 8pm Tuesday, May 23, 2006 and after
7:30am Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in
Funeral services for Clarence Rahlfs will be Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at
1pm from St. John Lutheran Church in Bremen, IL with Rev. Edwin Reuter
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
