Funeral services will be Friday, June 17, 2005 for 88-year-old Marjorie "Sissy" Hindman who passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.

She was born January 22, 1917 in Warren County, IL, the daughter of Harold and Rosetta (Carr) Leiper. She married Howard Hindman on May 14, 1938 and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include seven children, Gary Hindman of Soldotna, AK, Harold Hindman of Chester, IL, John Hindman of Elkville, IL, Howard Hindman of Phoenix, AZ, Ruth Wahlman of Walsh, IL, and Patricia Mueller of Chester, IL. One sister, JoAnne Meyer of Red Bud, IL. Two brothers, Bill Leiper of Sewickley, PA and Roger Leiper of Decatur, IL. 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren also survive along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, three sisters and one brother.

Friends are calling after 5pm Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.

Funeral services for Marjorie Hindman will be Friday, June 17, 2005 at 11am from the First Presbyterian Church in Chester, IL with Rev. Marvin "Bud" Bennett officiating. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, IL.

Memorials can be made to the Choir Fund at the First Presbyterian Church in Chester, IL.
