Funeral services will be Saturday, February 5, 2005 for 80-year-old Ralph
Holcomb of Chester, IL who passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at the
V.A. Medical Center in Marion, IL.
Born November 17, 1924 in Walsh, IL, the son of Francis and Mary Jane (Klee)
Holcomb. He married Evelyn Schulze of June 7, 1947 in Wine Hill, IL and she
survives of Chester, IL.
Also surviving are three daughters, Myra Rubach and Lori Holcomb of
Chester, IL, and Marsha Chandler of Steeleville, IL. Two sisters, Vada
Belton and Loretta Whitt both of North Little Rock, AR. One brother, Harvey
Holcomb of New Palestine, IL. Two sisters in law, one brother in law, four
grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends are calling after 4pm Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Welge
Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
Funeral service for Ralph Holcomb will be Saturday, February 5, 2005 at
11am from St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL with Rev. Mark Willig and
Vicar David Kern officiating. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery in
