Funeral services will be Monday, May 17, 2004 for 97 year old Leola
Clasen of Chester, IL who passed away Thursday, May 13, 2004 at Three
Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL.
She was born March 20, 1907 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Louis
and Anna (Postman) Maes, Sr. She married Adolph Clasen on November 29, 1945
in Chester, IL and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two brothers, Arthur and James Maes both of Chester,
IL. Three sisters, Evelyn York of Ellis Grove, IL, Florence Ott of New
Athens, IL and Romana Lofink of Granite City, IL. Nieces and nephews also

Friends are calling after 4pm Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the Schroeder
McClure Funeral Chapel in Chester, IL.
Funeral service for Leola Clasen will be Monday, May 17, 2004 at 10am at
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chester, IL with Msgr. Dennis Schaefer and
Father Alan Maes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
